As a CTE Administrator you will have the need to run industry certification reports and different times of the year for various reasons. In this article you find a ways to run a couple of different certification reports can that help you throughout the year, and to finalize at the end of the data reporting cycle.
You will first start the Analytics menu.
then select Certifications from the left sub menu
The Certifications features will always open to the overview page
On the over view page you can select what type of certification data you are wanting to view from the features menu
Demographics:
Spending:
Student:
Organizational:
Beginning of the School Year:
At the beginning of the school year a CTE Administrator will want to run a Certifications By Campus Report in the Organizational section to plan a certification budget or possibly to set certification goals for that campus for the coming school year.
A report for Certifications by Programs of Study in the Organizational section also be useful at the beginning of the school year to determine needs to professional development training.
End of the School Year
At the end of the school year as a CTE Administrator you will want to run reports for final certification data for sharing with district leadership and for state reporting.
The best report for this will be the Best Attempt Only report in the Student section.
This report will show the final result for students that had multiple attempts for the same exam, it will also list the exam date, the date the result was entered into the system, as well teacher and course information connected to the certification exam.
Another useful report at the end of the school year is the Certification Spending Report in the Spending section. T
This report will allow you to see the total certifications taken by students, the number of certs earned, the cost of each cert and who the cert vendor is.
