How do I run certification analytics? updated

There are often times when you will need to have certification data beyond just a pass or a fail.  You may have a need to report certifications based on CTE participation level, by grade level, by demographics, or gender.  When you follow the steps below you will be able to run the certification data reports with the additional data fields you are looking for. 

1. Select Analytics from the main menu (top)

2. Look for the sub menu on the left of the screen and select Certifications. 

3.  When you open the Certification Analytics you will first see certification overview charts that show the data for the whole district/school.  Once you start clicking into other field you can see additional data tied to certifications. 

Demographics

When you click on the tab for DEMOGRAPHICS you will then get a sub menu that populates and will allow to select from different types on demographic fields.  

You will notice in the display below that when we clicked on Demographics and sorted by Ethnicity you can see that in green it break down the CTE participation status for each Ethnicity as well, however if you are wanting the total for one group then you would just look to the total number in that field which are circled in orange.  

Spending

You can see when you click on spending there are also additional options to choose from.  You may want to view the total spending on certifications or if you have multiple funding sources you may want to those funding sources identified.

Students

There are also many filters you can utilize when you are looking at certifications by students, once you click STUDENT there will be sub menu that populated below to give you report options. 

Organizational

You can also filter the reports by the organization and then there are additional option that will appear in the sub menu that will also you to filter the data even further.  The Sub menu categories are pictured below.

Note: Please remember that most reports can be downloaded into a CSV format file should you need to use any of the reports above in district, state or Perkins reports.
